Welcome to Washington Auto Carriage
Founded in 1906 as a fabrication company, Washington Auto Carriage built and repaired horse-drawn buggies, stagecoaches, and cargo wagons.
Washington Auto Carriage built wooden school bus bodies with roll-up canvas windows. Later, the company made shackles for the state prison in Walla Walla, Washington. Some of the shackles are on display in a local museum. Thecompany also built a
mining crew bus in its early years.
